![]() Id bet my next paycheck that it is more likely because of the whole, "well its not fair that person A can open the app 24/7 to change an AH listing but person B can't because they can only log into the game" Boo freaking who, person B has just as much access to be able to do that as Person A. I mean the app is built and executed with a secured login required to do anything anyway if you are hacking a mobile app to make gold in MMOs chances are their security server side is garbage, to begin with, and they should really be focusing their efforts there instead. I am not sure where they are getting their metric data from on the whole "only 1% of the player base actually used mobile AH" I doubt it was everyone, but I would be willing to bet it was closer to about 60-70% as for cheating, you can't really cheat with that feature. ![]() There are really only two purposes I used either app for, starting/completing missions OR the AH, the missions will still be useful but the other crap from the armory personally is not worth bloating the new app with. It takes me seconds to do what I need to do and do it the most efficiently. I highly recommend getting OrderHallCommander. I can do all of this in about 20 minutes in the app. You can also upgrade your class halls, keep track of order resources, and spend Legionfall War Supplies without having to take your alts to the Broken Shore. It would take a couple of hours to do every alt daily, sending missions, recruiting followers, and refilling work orders. Since I have 17 level 110 characters, the Legion app is a great help for maintaining alts without having to log in on each one every day and take it to their class hall. Being able to look up which guild members have what professions, and what level, helped too, especially if you're trying to find someone to craft an item for you. I hope they keep the achievements, reputations and gear look-up options for both individual characters and the guild - those are all great features.I use the achievements and reputations lists to plan what I'm going to do in game, and it's nice being able to do that from anywhere and not have to be logged into the game. You almost wouldn't believe the two apps came out of the same company. The Battlenet (chat) app, on the other hand, is a textbook example of lean, OS-native design and is a pleasure to use. it's so bad I've used it literally once in the past six months, and that was only because I absolutely had to in order to send a mission off that I forgot about. Bloated, slow, takes forever to even log in, does internal "updates" on a whim. Hopefully they'll get the devs who made the Battlenet app to do the new companion app, rather than reworking the existing Legion app - because the latter is one of the worst apps I have ever seen on iOS. I had the same issue at school turns out the school Wi-Fi had *ANYTHING* Blizzard related blocked, so I had to turn off Wi-Fi and use my cell signal. It tries to connect but just sits there doing nothing and after a short while the app closes itself and I have to go through the whole process again, only it never actually connects.Ĭheck your internet connection. For the last 3 months I havent been able to use it. Then they better be fixing the companion app.
